From the grapes grown on the hilly belt of the province of Grosseto between the Ombrone and Albegna rivers, the Morellino di Scansano docg Horus is born.
It has an intense red color with purple hues. Its scent is delicate and intense, rich in red berries.
We recommend pairing with meat stews, skewers, pork livers, roast pork, stewed wild boar.
UVAGGIO: 100% Sangiovese
GRADO: 14% vol.
WINE MAKING AND AGEING: The harvest takes place at the end of September, early October.
The fermentation temperature is 24 ° C in stainless steel and the maceration time is around 15 days.
For the maturation, 4 months in steel are sufficient to maintain the strong fruity notes that characterize this wine.
TASTING NOTES: The freshness, the ease of drinking and the softness flanked by the presence of delicate tannins characterize the Morellino di Scansano docg HORUS which is present as a wine of elegant structure.
